Hint #1 - NFL "Play Now": Comfort Control
The NFL "Play Now" feature has multiple control schemes and different people will find different control schemes more comfortable, natural, and easy to use. Be sure to try each at least once to get an idea of which is right for you. Then, all you have to do is to convince the other player it's right for them as well.
Hint #2 - NFL "Play Now": Many Teams, Many Quarterbacks, Many Play Books
Each quartback has a different book of plays. Almost every play is located in more than half of the playbooks, but very few plays are in every playbook and the plays are not always in the same order. Just because you know where your favorite plays are in the book for one quarterback doesn't mean they'll be in the same spot for other quartbacks. To be the most effective, pick a favorite QB and learn their plays before adding a second quarterback to your repetoir.
Hint #3 - Paper Football: Practice More, Score More (Duh!)
The only way to get goo at Paper Football is to practice. The game IS playable as a single-player game after all.
Hint #4 - Paper Football: Ultimate Mode - Spare Change
Remember that per each set of four downs, each coin can only be used once. If you use all of the coins early, you'll have none if the paper football gets past them. If you want to late and the paper football gets too close to the edge of the table, the no placement zone that surrounds the paper football may prevent you from placing the coins effectively.
