Hint #1 - Repetition, Repetition, Repetition, Repetition, Repetition, ... ... ... ... ...
Like just about every pinball game ever designed, certain types of repition will provide high scores. If, on the same ball, the same sinkhole-like spot near the center of upper screen is repeatedly hit, the score earned each time will go up (1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, etc.) each time it's hit, resetting back to 1k after a ball is lost. There are several spots like this on the board.
Hint #2 - Defendin' Da Turf
The "pinball" is replaced by "SamusBall" in the game, but the Metroid baddies (the actual Metroids themselves) will occasionally appear. They will attemp to grab the SamusBall and sap its stength. Hit SamusBall into a Metroid hard with ther paddles to damage (and, if done a lot, destroy) the Metroid(s).
